Another goddamn Monday!

So, I had a really great weekend but, as always, it ended too quickly!

And, mine didn't end all that great!

I swear, intense heat and physical activity is bad for one's health... I felt fine (though hot and exhausted) during yesterday's trip to central park...

But, by the time I got home I felt a lot a bit like death...

I was both hot and cold, my stomach was killing me and my head was pounding.

Well, I'm the queen of TMI (online at least). My stomach is a raging mess and has been for most of my adult life... Though, before that, it was never a problem. Doctors have chalked the mess up to IBS and told me to live with is... which is, ya know, very helpful.

So, I'm keeping fingers crossed that this is a momentary blip rather than the start of an excursion into months of stomach hell (which sometimes happens).

Anyway, enough of my insanity... Ranting and obsessing only makes it worse.

I actually went to bed at like midnite last night... which is ridiculously early for me. I knew I had a long drive ahead of me today for work and I wanted to at least try to get rid of the headache. (My headaches only go away with a LOT of sleep).

So, I got 8 hours and... unfortunately, my head was still fucking KILLING this morning. So, I drove to Princeton and back (nearly 6 hours in total) for an appointment... wanting to die all the while.

Came home and called fucking VERIZON again b/c after a week, I still cannot set up this fax machine. Have you EVER heard something so pathetic in all your years... ? I mean, REALLY. I have no idea what the problem is and they refuse to help me!

After that fiasco, I decided it was time for a nap. So, I took a long nap and only just got up a little while ago.

I also forgot to watch Jon & Kate + 8... Which means I'll have to catch the late showing! (I barely watch tv but I've always watched J&K... even before the scandals. It's such a train wreck... I can't look away!)

Tomorrow will bring with it two store visits in NYC. One of which will involve lunch with one of my favorite store owners.

Thankfully, I'm home the rest of the week trying to play catch up... I have a lot of appointments to schedule and stuff to read through... preparing to sell the next season's books.

And, with some sort of divine intervention, maybe I'll have a working fax machine before 2010.

Anyyyyyyyyyyyway, light of twi updates.

It's been a slow 48 hours after the very newsworthy concert photos from saturday...

First off, Summit, which was attacking sites left and right earlier today for having the "unauthorized" trailer up, has now released an official HD version of the trailer... Which I've posted below!

The Twilight Saga: New Moon 'Meet Jacob Black' Preview in HD

We also have a few new photos from the weekend...

Before the cast attended the KOL concert Saturday night they had a group showing of 'New Moon'

And from later in the day... at least he looks like he's having a good time!

Kristen on the cover of a UK Magazine

Oddly, someone discovered that Rob was featured in an old Nylon street style book. Lol.. It's a candid that was randomly taken on the streets of London back when he was 19.

A few noteworthy screencaps from the new trailer (Thanks to Thinking of Rob for the screencaps!)

A new still from 'How to Be'

If you haven't caught on yet... what I post is just what I'm personally interested in... lol.

I guess that's probably not the ideal basis for a website/blog... But, that's me!

oh, and, an HD version of the squinty eyed goodness!

A couple of quick movielog entries...

EAGLE VS. SHARK ****/*****

To me, this seemed like a total rip-off of Napoleon Dynamite... It was basically Napoleon Dynamite the New Zealand version!

But, I enjoyed Napoleon Dynamite... So, I enjoyed this too. Really though, I guess it should be more like 3.5 stars!

Basically, it's the story of an eccentric loser and this poor hapless girl who (quite inexplicably) falls for him.

LACKAWANNA BLUES

****/*****

I love movies about strong black women who take care of entire neighborhoods of people.

Is that a racist thing to say? I don't think so...

Anyway, S. Epatha Merkerson was amazing in this. (and, she was on my flight back to NYC from Vegas once... Lol).

GIGANTIC

***/*****

I rented this b/c I really like both Paul Dano and Zooey Deschanel.

It wasn't bad really... just far from amazing. Paul Dano is a loner working in a NYC matress showroom who meets a bizarre girl from an equally bizarre family...

She interferes with his life long plan of solo-adopting a Chinese baby... (Also somewhat bizarre!).

John Goodman plays Zooey's dad. He's so great... he doesn't work nearly enough. And, I hate myself for missing him on bway earlier this year in 'Waiting for Godot'

Ever since these damn twilight books sucked my brain out 12 months ago, I've had a hard time getting to the theater. I'm seretly guilt ridden by this.

Though, I can't solely blame the twilight thing. The blythe thing has helped too.

Twilight sucked out my time and brain and Blythe has sucked out my money...

Okay, I should stop now...

peace out kids -- hope your week is off to a good start!

    three things:
    1. I've not been here for three days? This you have to go outside of flickr to view your movie reviews and Twi updates to me still sucks.

    2. I hope you never stop blogging and

    3. I'll be right back.
